Speed Rally!
A few weeks ago, I began working a small game with the goal of getting my feet wet in GBA homebrew development, as well as brush up on my C++ skills. After some testing and some feedback, I am now ready to release my game, Speed Rally!
For starters, it is meant to be a remake of Auto Race, which was an old electronic game made by Mattel in 1976. The goal of the game is the complete 4 laps in the fastest time possible before you reach 99 seconds. The same works for Speed Rally!. There are going to be obvious differences such as:
- Better graphics than the original game
- Having a menu (duh!)
- Music (If you are a fan of old sports game, you should recognize the music)
I was originally going to make another version of this game for the original Game Boy, which I would have sold. However, I came to my senses, and decided that there are better game ideas for the GBA that can be sold for profit in the future. Due to the way the game plays, it is extraordinarily short, and is meant to be nothing more than a small time waster for beating an old score.
As always, any feedback, whether it be negative or positive, is welcomed! Feel free to post your high score in the comments if you want!

Install instructions
This is a Game Boy Advance ROM, therefore, you will need to install the ROM, and play it on an emulator (mGBA, Visual Boy Advance, etc), or copy the rom to a flashcart to play on a real GBA, DS, or 3DS (via open_agb_firm).
Alternatively, you can also install the CIA to the 3DS. This way, you can play the game natively on a modded 3DS via GBA Virtual Console.
